KFU is ranked among the top 400 universities in the world, in the QS World University Rankings® 2019-2020. In the QS World University Rankings by Subject, it’s in the global top 200 for linguistics, top 300 for modern languages, education and the top 400 for mathematics. KFU has also been rated four stars overall in the QS Stars evaluation system.

Over 9,000 international students from around 80 countries are enrolled on academic programs at Kazan Federal University. The university’s international outlook is also reflected in both research and exchange opportunities – KFU students and faculty members participate in bilateral research and exchange programs with 290 partner institutions in 64 countries.
KFU’s student dormitory, the Universiade Village, caters to 8,000 students and features sports grounds, a health clinic, security team and various other facilities.
